From the Dean

Searching for an engaging environment in which to learn, create, perform, or simply marvel at dance? The Florida State University School of Dance not only boasts some of the best dance and performance technology facilities anywhere, but also 20 amazing faculty members, from Capezio Award winners Jawole Zollar and Suzanne Farrell to modern master Dan Wagoner. Complementing the school is MANCC, The Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, which brings the most innovative choreographers and companies from around the world to graceful Tallahassee. MANCC participants work on creating, documenting, and performing dance, while focusing on their creative process. Join us for ideas that move and people who inspire truly remarkable dance, from ballet to contemporary.
